Prior to making your purchase, read the following terms and conditions very carefully. It is your responsibility to view these terms and conditions before making a purchase. You are also encouraged to keep a copy of these terms and conditions.

The Customer, the Products, and Resting Devil Brewery
Please be aware that these Terms and Conditions apply to ALL sales of beers and merchandise (known collectively as ‘Resting Devil Products’) sold or supplied to you (the Customer) through the Site by EJMC Ltd operating as Resting Devil Brewery, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12002902, VAT registration number GB 281458976) whose registered address 81 Windermere Road, Chesterfield, England, S41 8DT (“EJMC Ltd”, “we” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions also apply to EJMC Ltd made available and/or advertised on the Site from time to time.
Anybody who wishes to buy bottled beer from Resting Devil is required to be 18. Anybody purchasing alcohol in the British Isles is required by law to be over 18. When you are making a purchase using our shop online you are confirming that you are 18 years of age or older. It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK.
If you intend to purchase alcohol for someone else the recipient also has to be 18 or older. Please do not buy alcohol on our website for anyone who is UNDER the age of 18.
Each delivery must be accepted by a person aged 18 or older. If Resting Devil’s couriers have any reason to suspect that the age of the person accepting the delivery is under the age of 18, they will be obliged to request some form of ID. It is your responsibility to provide it (as per the BPA’s Challenge 21 scheme).
Resting Devil reserve the right to cancel the delivery if the age and identity of the recipient is in doubt.
Orders, Prices and Availability
All orders are processed and shipped within 3-4 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.
Prices quoted on this site are for delivery to UK mainland only, if you would like to place an order for delivery outside that area, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can price accordingly.
In the unlikely event that a Resting Devil Product has been advertised on the website at a price lower than the correct price (as a result of human error or mistype) we are not liable to provide that Resting Devil Product at the advertised price. Of course, we will notify you of any such mistakes once and order has been received and is being processed. We will contact you and you will then have the option to cancel your order and receive a full refund. The payment of such a refund will be made to the credit or debit card you used when placing the order. Customers who have overpaid will be refunded the difference in full.
Orders can be cancelled up until the day of dispatch. Please email us at email@example.com.
All Resting Devil Products are advertised are subject to availability. Very occasionally, a Resting Devil Product will appear as available on the website when it is no longer in stock. This can happen when we are experiencing multiple and simultaneous purchases of the same Resting Devil Product before we have an opportunity to update our stock management area. In this instance, the product would no longer be available. On the occasions that this happens, Resting Devil Brewery will give you the option to cancel your order and provide a full refund. You will also be given the option to change your order with a replacement that is in stock. You will be notified of this prior to delivery.
Please note that we are a small and independent microbrewery. It is entirely likely that certain Resting Devil Products may become unavailable from time to time.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling, and are per bottle or item of merchandise unless otherwise indicated. The prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax unless otherwise specified. Any delivery charges are additional and will be notified to you before you place your order.
Resting Devil Brewery reserve the right to change our prices and/or to cancel any special offer at any time, without notice. Please check www.restingdevil.co.uk for current prices.
Details of minimum and maximum order limits will be shown on the Resting Devil Website and may be amended by us at any time.
By placing an order on the Resting Devil Brewery website you are bound by the terms and conditions governing that sale. Resting Devil Brewery is obliged to fulfil that order once payment has been made. As soon as we have receipt of your order we will email you confirmation of receipt including details of the Resting Devil Products you have ordered. If you have chosen to have these delivered the total costs will include the shipping fee stipulated at point of purchase. If you have chosen to click and collect the order from The Chesterfield Arms it is your responsibility to ensure your order is picked-up in a timely manner. No refund will be given for any failure to collect your items. If any unforeseen circumstances should arise that prohibit you from collecting your order please contact Resting Devil at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss alternative options.
Please note that there may be short delays in delivering Resting Devil Products during busy order periods such as Christmas. In ‘off peak’ periods will do our best to fulfil orders in 3-5 working days.
Resting Devil Brewery uses the Stripe Gateway. When you purchase Resting Devil Products all card transactions are processed using Stripe technology on a secure and encrypted server owned and managed by Stripe. We accept payment by Visa, Visa- Debit, MasterCard, Amex, and ApplePay. Credit and debit cards will be debited in pounds sterling. All payments must be made from within the UK and delivered to the British mainland.
Resting Devil Brewery reserve the right to refuse or to cancel any order where we suspect that the payment method being used to place the order is being used fraudulently or is the subject of theft or any other unauthorised use.
A full receipt will be included with all Resting Devil Products delivered to the customer address or when picked up from the Chesterfield Arms.
Once you have placed an order we will attempt to process and deliver that order within 3-4 working days. If you have ordered bottles or bottles and merchandise you will receive an email or SMS from our couriers to notify you that the order is on its way. This email will contain a tracking code allowing you to track the progress of your parcel.
If you are not at home when our couriers attempt to deliver your order and you have not left instructions for us to leave the order with an authorised person at your property, or with a neighbour, they will leave a card to let you know that they have tried but are unable to fulfil delivery. It is your responsibility when requesting that your parcel be left with a neighbour to ensure that such neighbour will be at home and available to take collection of the delivery. Resting Devil Brewery is responsible for settling or arbitrating in any disputes about delivery that you may have with the person you have designated to accept the delivery. Neither resting Devil Brewery nor our couriers accept any responsibility for loss or damages suffered as a result of deliveries not being made by the estimated delivery time for reasons which are beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, traffic delays. You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery information (including your postal address or email address) is correct at time of purchase AND at the time of delivery. We reserve the right to recover any Charges levied upon us by our courier as a result of incorrect or inaccurate details being provided by the customer.
Not for resale
If we feel that your order has been placed with the intention to resell the bottles at a higher markup your order will be cancelled. Orders are for private consumption only. Whilst we welcome orders for large gatherings or parties the items are not to be resold. This website serves as a retail outlet for the public to purchase small to medium-sized batches or beer. This is not a wholesale platform.
From time to time Resting Devil will offer electronic gift vouchers and promotions that can be redeemed on any of the items purchased on our website. This is extended to both beer orders and merchandise. We currently offer vouchers to the value of £10, £25, £50 and £100. The gift vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash and will expire after 12 months of purchase.
Faulty or Damaged Items
Resting Devil is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
If our courier is satisfied there has been damages can be made the courier and a full refund will be given (excluding shipping costs) as long as we are notified of the return and we receive the goods in the same condition and original packaging as they were dispatched. Our return period is 30 days and proof of purchase will be required.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If there is a problem with your order or items are faulty, you must inform Resting Devil Brewery within 30 days of receipt. Refunds will only be offered to you if you have notified us that your items are not what you ordered or are faulty in some way within 30 days of receipt. To report a problem please contact us at email@example.com. Sadly, we are not in apposition to offer refunds after this time period has elapsed. We will however attempt to negotiate a solution to the problem that is agreeable to both the customer and Resting Devil.
If your order has been damaged you are within your rights to refuse the order when the courier attempts delivery, at which point it will be returned to us. If you choose to do this, please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will either resend the order, or issue a full refund or offer a voucher for the spent amount on your next order. The choice will be yours.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
