How do I order beer and merchandise?
Just head over to the Barrel Room and browse through our beers and merchandise. Add whatever you like to your basket and then proceed to checkout.
Is there a minimum purchase?
Yes. In order to give you the best deal on shipping and delivery we’ve applied a minimum of £25.00 on orders. For convenience this also applies to the Click and Collect options. Shipping (postage) is priced at £7.99 per order – NOT per item — so the more items you order the better the deal.
You are of course welcome to call into the Chesterfield Arms and buy bottles and merchandise over the bar with no minimum purchase set (you can pick up as many or as few bottles as you like).
There is currently no maximum set on orders. Please bear in mind that all orders are for private consumption only, not for resale. Resting Devil reserves the right to query unusually large orders that we suspect of being for resale and distribution. Otherwise — anything goes!
How do I pay?
You can pay online using your credit/debit card. We use secure Stripe payments. You can learn more here:
How big are the bottles?
Unless stated otherwise, all beer bottles are 750ml — more commonly known as a SHARER. This makes it bigger than the average British pint which is 568ml. BTW: you are under absolutely no obligation to share.
Can I mix and match?
Yes. You can order single bottles, merchandise and multi-packs all in the same order.
How long will my order take to arrive?
All orders are processed and shipped within 3-4 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.
Where do you deliver?
Prices quoted on this site are for delivery to UK mainland only, if you would like to place an order for delivery outside that area, please contact us at email@example.com so we can price accordingly.

Can I track my order? When will I know when it is being delivered?
APC Overnight can provide a 2 hour delivery window direct to your customer on the morning of delivery (either by email or SMS).

Can I have the courier leave it with a neighbour or deliver it to my work address?
Yes. When you proceed to the Checkout you will have an option to Ship to another address. Just the tick the checkbox beside this option and you will be able to fill an address that is different to your billing address.
Cancellations, returns, refunds
Orders can be cancelled up until day of dispatch, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Returns can be made to us and a full refund will be given (excluding shipping costs) as long as we are notified of the return and we receive the goods in the same condition and original packaging as they were dispatched.
Our return period is 30 days and proof of purchase will be required.
